Pathologist (Medical Doctor) – Full‑time Permanent

About the role

The Laboratoire national de santé (LNS) is seeking a qualified Medical Doctor specialized in Pathology to join its Pathological Anatomy service on a full‑time, permanent basis. Working within a multicultural, research‑oriented environment, you will contribute to the national centre of pathology’s mission of disease diagnosis, monitoring, and public health support.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret anatomopathology specimens and reports.
• Plan, prioritize, and design diagnostic experiments in collaboration with specialists and scientists.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and safety of all pathology results.
• Participate in multidisciplinary consultation meetings (tumor boards) and national/international working groups.

Required profile

• Recognised medical diploma in pathology.
• Authorization to practice medicine in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
• Minimum two years of multidisciplinary experience in pathological diagnosis.
• Proficiency in English and French; additional German or Luxembourgish is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills.
