OSINT Investigator

About the role

As an OSINT Investigator at satispay you will lead high‑complexity fraud investigations, reconstruct forensic evidence and shape the long‑term FinCrime strategy. You will work with cross‑functional teams to turn intelligence into actionable controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end investigations of sophisticated fraud schemes such as organized scam networks and advanced AML/CTF syndicates.
• Gather and analyse data from internal systems and advanced OSINT sources to build evidence‑based intelligence packages.
• Act as escalation point for the first line of defence, providing mentorship and conducting quality reviews.
• Document investigation steps and evidence in a defensible manner for auditors, law enforcement or regulators.
• Author high‑priority SAR/STR narratives and ensure regulatory compliance under strict deadlines.
• Translate findings into actionable intelligence and collaborate with Product, Data and Engineering to design next‑generation monitoring controls.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in fraud, AML or corporate investigations, preferably in FinTech, banking or intelligence sectors.
• Strong investigative tenacity, critical thinking and ability to challenge assumptions.
• Proven ability to mentor junior investigators and guide complex cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for briefing senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data analytics tools such as Looker, Splunk, HEX or Redshift.
• Expertise in OSINT techniques and forensic reconstruction.
• Working knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and Strong Customer Authentication framework (preferred).
