Operational Test Manager (Contractor) – Luxembourg

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Test Manager on a contract basis to support a leading insurance company in Luxembourg. The role focuses on driving quality assurance across strategic digital transformation initiatives, working remotely within a collaborative, Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy covering unit, integration, end‑to‑end, UAT, security, and performance testing.
• Estimate testing workload, allocate resources, and coordinate test planning and execution.
• Identify quality risks, ensure test coverage, and manage defects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain test environments, data, and tools while delivering measurable quality outcomes.
• Define and monitor quality KPIs in partnership with stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration between IT, business, architecture, security, and production teams.

Required profile

• EU citizenship with the ability to work in Luxembourg (remote model accepted).
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of software testing experience, including at least 3 years in test management or leadership.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies such as ISTQB or TMap.
• Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with ITIL and DevSecOps practices.
