About the role

Contern S.A. is seeking a motivated Machine Operator / Mechatronics Technician to join its production team in Contern. You will work with a range of automated equipment used to manufacture concrete pipes, manholes, reinforcement, and vibrating presses for blocks, curbs, and paving stones.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and adjust various automated machines throughout the production process.
• Perform routine checks such as oil level monitoring and carry out preventive maintenance tasks.
• Execute minor repairs on equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Use a crane and forklift to handle materials and components safely.
• Work in rotating shifts (06:00‑14:00 or 14:00‑22:00) as part of a collaborative production crew.

Required profile

• Technical training in mechanics, electromechanics or mechatronics.
• Fluency in French and/or German.
• Motivation, professionalism and a strong focus on quality.
• Strict adherence to safety instructions and ability to work both independently and in a team.
