On-Site Support Technician

About the role

We are seeking an On‑Site Support Technician to provide immediate, ad‑hoc assistance for one or more clients located in Luxembourg. The role involves handling incidents, configuring devices, and ensuring smooth operation of user environments both on‑site and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Log and resolve incidents and service requests using the client’s ticketing system, adhering to SLA priorities.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, peripherals, tablets, smartphones, and other electronic devices.
• Provide remote support when required and assist new joiners with device setup.
• Test and maintain laptops, virtual machines, printers, meeting rooms, and other equipment according to approved standards.
• Update asset databases and prevent recurrence of dissatisfied user feedback.
• Support remote teams by performing local interventions on servers or network devices as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least one year of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Experience working in Microsoft environments.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or similar.
• Understanding of ITIL processes (ITIL Foundation certification is a plus).
• Fluent French and working knowledge of English (minimum B2).
