On-Site IT Support Officer (Permanent)

About the role

Loyens & Loeff is seeking an On‑Site IT Support Officer to join its Luxembourg office. You will be responsible for delivering first‑ and second‑line support to internal users and ensuring the reliability of the firm’s IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑line support, answer queries and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Install, configure and maintain hardware, software, systems and peripherals.
• Prepare and configure IT equipment for new joiners and manage user access rights.
• Monitor availability and performance of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
• Offer on‑site support for meeting rooms and events, including AV equipment and connectivity.
• Manage IT assets such as laptops, mobile devices and accessories.
• Identify recurring issues, propose improvements and contribute to service enhancements.
• Maintain documentation, user guides and procedures.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Good command of English; French and/or Dutch are a plus.
• Relevant IT education or equivalent practical experience.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to continuously learn.
• Experience in a professional services environment is advantageous.
