Medior DevOps Engineer – Luxembourg

About the role

ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS is seeking a Medior DevOps Engineer to join its technical team in Luxembourg. Working closely with a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will own and evolve a production‑grade infrastructure while helping development teams adopt modern, reliable DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the existing infrastructure and continuously improve its resilience and availability.
• Identify, evaluate, and deploy tooling that meets internal team needs, and provide training for adoption.
• Support development, infrastructure, network, and database teams in automating build, test, release, and deployment pipelines.
• Build and maintain performance dashboards, monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Define and implement quality‑control tests such as end‑to‑end, load, stress, and security testing before production releases.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Strong background in Linux administration and open‑source technologies.
• Proven ability to research, evaluate, and share technical findings.
• Self‑motivated yet comfortable collaborating within a team.
• Fluent in English (technical) and preferably French.
• Experience setting up cloud, hybrid, or container‑oriented environments with an orchestrator.

Required skills

• Linux, Docker, Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and artifact management.
• Monitoring and alerting tools for systems and networks.
• Network protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, VPN).
• Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
