Medical Operation Regulator – Shift Work

About the role

Luxembourg Air Rescue (LAR) is seeking a Medical Operation Regulator to ensure safe and efficient coordination of worldwide medical missions. Working in a dynamic, 7‑day‑a‑week environment, you will combine medical expertise with operational oversight to support time‑critical repatriations, hospital transfers and organ transports.

Key responsibilities

• Manage repatriation requests for LAR members, from initial contact through full operational organisation.
• Perform medical clearance for European Air Ambulance (EAA) missions.
• Organise and monitor secondary missions such as hospital‑to‑hospital transfers and organ transports.
• Book ground ambulances for both fixed‑wing and rotary‑wing missions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for members, families, hospitals and medical crews.
• Handle administrative tasks linked to medical aspects of mission planning.
• Support broader operational activities, including flight bookings and cross‑departmental coordination.

Required profile

• Degree in a medical field (registered nurse or equivalent).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a clinical or medical‑operations environment.
• Strong command of English and proficiency in at least two Luxembourgish languages (Luxembourgish, French, German).
• Professional, discreet and highly organised.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard IT tools (MS Office).
