Medical Doctor – Pathologist (Full‑time, Permanent)

About the role

The Laboratoire national de santé (LNS) is seeking a qualified Medical Doctor specialized in Pathology to join its Pathological Anatomy service at the National Centre of Pathology. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to work in a modern, multidisciplinary public laboratory serving Luxembourg's health system.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret anatomopathology files.
• Plan, prioritize and design experiments in collaboration with specialists and scientists.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy and safety of all pathology results.
• Participate in multidisciplinary consultation meetings (tumor boards) and national/international working groups.

Required profile

• Recognised medical diploma in pathology.
• Authorization to practice medicine in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
• Minimum two years of experience in pathological diagnosis.
• Fluency in English and French; German or Luxembourgish is a plus.
• Strong communication, organisational and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Awareness of health‑and‑safety regulations and laboratory procedures.
