Mechanical Designer – Molds (Product Development)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer specialized in molds to join our Development‑Engineering team in Luxembourg. After an initial training period at our European headquarters, you will support the product development of beverage packaging tooling, delivering high‑quality, reliable and cost‑effective designs.

Key responsibilities

• Iterate design concepts and create a design selection matrix based on the scope of work.
• Execute detailed designs applying company standards and perform system‑level design with limited guidance.
• Produce design documentation and validation plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide, including engineering, manufacturing, testing and validation.
• Develop and manage complex project plans, set milestones and communicate project status effectively.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Several years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in mold or tooling environments.
• Strong knowledge of CAD applications.
• Proven ability to analyse and solve complex technical problems.
• Good project and time‑management skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• CAD software proficiency.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Design parameter calculation.
• Virtual simulation (advantage).
