Marketing & Business Development Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level Marketing & Business Development Advisor to support the execution of our client strategy, business development, and external communications initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing and Business Development, you will work closely with partners, fee earners, and international teams to ensure high‑quality delivery across pitches, events, and visibility projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the marketing team and senior manager in implementing business development and marketing plans.
• Manage mid‑level pitches from start to finish and coordinate smaller opportunities with legal administrative teams.
• Maintain and update CVs, credentials, and other client‑facing materials.
• Track pipeline activity, opportunities, and follow‑ups, and improve templates, content, and tools.
• Produce and distribute external communications; manage LinkedIn and other key channels in line with firm positioning.
• Coordinate submissions for legal directories (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500) and ensure alignment with global campaigns.
• Plan and deliver client‑focused events, support smaller formats, and manage memberships and networking opportunities.
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, business development or communications, preferably within professional services.
• Fluent written and spoken English; French and Dutch are a plus.
• Proactive, able to take responsibility for deliverables with clear guidance.
• Quick learner comfortable in a fast‑moving, demanding environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Commercial awareness and ability to interact with international teams and diverse stakeholders.
