Maritime Systems Technician (NATO Support Agency)

About the role

The NATO Support Agency is seeking a Maritime Systems Technician to support the design, maintenance and integration of naval equipment. The role is based in a multicultural environment and involves working on a variety of maritime subsystems.

Key responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to sub‑surface and surface propulsion, electrical systems, auxiliaries, hull structures, sensors and weapons.
• Participate in project teams and contribute to project management activities.
• Ensure compliance with technical requirements and logistics processes for maritime systems.
• Maintain documentation and certificates related to naval system training.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training in maritime systems with at least 3 years experience, or secondary education with 5 years experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in maritime technical and logistics processes.
• Formalised technical training in naval systems (certificates or records required).
• Project management certification and at least 2 years experience in a project team.
