Manual Test Engineer – QA Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Manual Test Engineer to drive our quality assurance initiatives. You will work closely with developers, business analysts and operations to ensure our software meets the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather system insights and build effective manual test suites.
• Design, prepare and maintain comprehensive test scenarios, scripts and realistic test data.
• Execute manual tests, investigate anomalies, report detailed issues and verify bug fixes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of testing activities, coverage and outcomes.
• Communicate transparently with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, reporting to the Squad Lead.
• Develop and maintain automated integration test scripts for back‑end/API layers.
• Create and run automated front‑end web tests to support regression testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing testing activities within cross‑functional teams.
• Hands‑on use of test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Xray or TestNG.
• Ability to develop scripts using modern scripting languages for automation support.
• Strong documentation skills to reproduce steps, isolate root causes and troubleshoot complex errors.
• Highly proactive with excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Very good verbal and written communication in English.
