Managing Director, Private Markets

About the role

Waystone is seeking a Managing Director for its Private Markets division. The role will be based in London, Luxembourg or Ireland and will lead the global strategy for private equity, private credit and real asset managers, delivering integrated solutions across fund administration, governance and distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute Waystone’s global private markets growth strategy, targeting priority client segments and geographies.
• Shape the end‑to‑end product offering, integrating management company services, regulatory oversight, distribution enablement and fund administration.
• Develop differentiated market positioning and act as a thought leader within the private markets ecosystem.
• Set revenue targets, drive new client acquisition and partner with global sales teams to close mandates.
• Lead strategic pursuits with key asset managers and build a sustainable pipeline of opportunities.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in private equity, private credit or real assets.
• Proven track record of defining and executing global market strategies.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience driving revenue growth and strategic partnerships.
• Ability to represent the firm as a thought leader across the private markets ecosystem.
