Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Sport Management

About the role

We are looking for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join LUNEX’s Sport Management department in Differdange, Luxembourg. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality teaching at both Bachelor’s and Master’s level, coordinate modules, and develop industry partnerships while conducting independent research.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess courses across the department’s Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in sport management.
• Take full responsibility for the design, delivery and continuous improvement of assigned modules.
• Develop and maintain relationships with international sport federations, global brands and athlete management agencies.
• Conduct independent scholarly research, publish findings and contribute to the institution’s research environment.
• Support student wellbeing and foster a caring learning environment.

Required profile

• Proven ability to teach independently and conduct research.
• Experience managing complete modules, including quality development.
• Doctoral degree or significant industry experience is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with students, colleagues and external partners.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2); French or German a plus.
