Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Lecturer or Assistant Professor to join the Department of Health at LUNEX University of Applied Sciences. The position focuses on teaching and research in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation, delivering both undergraduate and postgraduate modules.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess physiotherapy courses, with emphasis on musculoskeletal disorders.
• Supervise student projects and clinical placement activities.
• Contribute to academic governance, curriculum development and quality assurance.
• Engage in research activities, publish findings and support evidence‑based teaching.
• Participate in departmental meetings and administrative duties.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Fluent English (teaching language); additional French or German is a plus.
• Commitment to high‑quality patient care and continuous professional development.
• Motivation to conduct research and contribute to the academic community.

Required skills

• Knowledge of musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice.
• Experience with digital teaching tools and online course delivery.
• OMPT qualification (preferred).
