Laboratory Technician (M/F)

About the role

The Laboratoire national de santé is seeking a full‑time Laboratory Technician (M/F) for its Department of Health Protection. You will work in a nationally accredited laboratory, performing chemical and microbiological analyses on environmental and human samples to support public health and occupational safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct chemical and microbiological analyses of dust, air, and surface samples (ISO/IEC 17025 accredited).
• Analyse human biological specimens such as blood, urine, and hair for biomarkers of exposure and effect (ISO 15189 accredited).
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure compliance with quality standards, and document results accurately.
• Support research projects and European PARC partnership activities related to human biomonitoring and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with hospitals, ministries, and occupational medicine services.

Required profile

• Degree in biology, chemistry, environmental science or a related field.
• Experience in laboratory analysis of chemical or microbiological samples.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 and ISO 15189 quality standards.
• Ability to work in a regulated environment and follow strict documentation procedures.
