Laboratory Assistant – Sample Management & QC

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Laboratory Assistant to join our young team in Luxembourg. You will play a key part in receiving, processing, and tracking biological samples while supporting digital innovations that streamline daily laboratory work.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and register biological samples in the system, ensuring full traceability.
• Prepare samples by sorting, centrifugation, and distribution according to current protocols.
• Assist technicians and biologists with equipment setup and reagent preparation.
• Participate in internal quality‑control procedures to guarantee reliable results.
• Monitor consumable and reagent stock levels and place orders when needed.
• Manage shipments and maintain the laboratory dashboard.

Required profile

• Degree in Medical Biology, Biomedical Sciences or a related field.
• First experience in a medical analysis laboratory is desirable.
• Strong accuracy, organization, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
