Laboratory Assistant – Sample Management & QC

About the role

We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join our young, motivated team in Luxembourg. The role focuses on receiving, registering and preparing biological samples, ensuring traceability and supporting the laboratory’s daily workflow through digital tools.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and register incoming biological samples in the laboratory information system.
• Prepare samples by sorting, centrifugation and distribution according to established protocols.
• Assist technicians and biologists with equipment setup and reagent preparation.
• Participate in internal quality‑control procedures to guarantee reliable results.
• Monitor consumable and reagent stocks, place orders and manage shipments.
• Maintain the laboratory dashboard and ensure accurate data entry.

Required profile

• Degree in Medical Biology, Biomedical Sciences or a related field.
• First experience in a medical analysis laboratory is desirable.
• Strong accuracy, organization and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Centrifugation and sample sorting techniques.
• Laboratory inventory and stock management.
• Use of digital laboratory dashboards for data tracking.
