Laboratory Assistant – Sample Management

About the role

We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join our young, motivated team in Luxembourg. You will handle the receipt and management of biological samples, using advanced digital tools that streamline daily laboratory workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and register biological samples in the system, ensuring full traceability.
• Prepare samples by sorting, centrifugation and distribution according to established protocols.
• Assist technicians and biologists with equipment setup and reagent preparation.
• Participate in internal quality‑control procedures to guarantee reliable results.
• Monitor consumable and reagent stocks, place orders and manage shipments.
• Maintain the laboratory dashboard and oversee related digital processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Medical Biology, Biomedical Sciences or a related field.
• At least a basic experience in a medical analysis laboratory is desirable.
• Strong accuracy, organization, team spirit and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
