Laboratory Assistant – Biological Sample Management

About the role

We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join our young, motivated team in Luxembourg. The role focuses on receiving, registering and preparing biological samples, supporting laboratory staff and ensuring high‑quality results through digital tools.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and register incoming biological samples in the laboratory information system, guaranteeing traceability.
• Prepare samples by sorting, centrifugation and distribution according to established protocols.
• Assist technicians and biologists with equipment setup and reagent preparation for analyses.
• Participate in internal quality‑control procedures to maintain result reliability.
• Monitor consumable and reagent stocks, place orders and manage shipments.
• Maintain the laboratory dashboard and oversee related documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Medical Biology, Biomedical Sciences or a related field.
• First experience in a medical analysis laboratory is desirable.
• Strong accuracy, organization, team spirit and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
