Key Account Director – Institutional Funds (DACH)

About the role

Ebury is seeking a Key Account Director to lead the growth of its Institutional Funds business across the DACH region. Based in Luxembourg, you will act as the primary liaison between Ebury and institutional clients, helping them navigate cross‑border payments, foreign‑exchange (FX) solutions and hedging strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new institutional clients and expand existing relationships.
• Build and maintain strong networks with fund administrators, corporate service providers, law firms and other ecosystem partners.
• Identify client needs for cross‑border payments, FX, and FX hedging and present comprehensive solutions.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes affecting institutional FX.
• Collaborate with internal FX dealing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven sales management experience in FX or cross‑border financial services targeting institutional clients in the DACH region.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence senior‑level stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the fund ecosystem in the UK and institutional FX markets.
• Fluent in German and based in Luxembourg.
