Junior Risk Management Officer

About the role

Join an independent AIFM boutique that manages Private Equity, Fixed Income, Real Estate and Fund of Funds portfolios. As a Junior Risk Management Officer you will work directly with the Conducting Officers to monitor and shape the risk profile of complex alternative fund structures.

Key responsibilities

• Support the onboarding of new funds by conducting initial due‑diligence and risk assessments.
• Identify, measure and monitor market, credit, liquidity, operational and ESG risks across all managed funds.
• Analyse and challenge existing risk models, translating findings into concrete risk decisions and strategies.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc risk reports for senior officers and the Board of Managers.
• Assist in drafting and updating AIFM policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Help develop automated solutions for risk monitoring, reporting and analysis.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, depositaries and other service providers.

Required profile

• First professional experience in the fund industry with solid knowledge of risk management and regulatory frameworks (AIFMD).
• Understanding of the Luxembourg fund environment is a plus.
• Analytical, numerate and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in English, detail‑oriented and able to manage time effectively.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, initiative‑driven and curious about automation and AI.
• Nice to have exposure to Real Estate, Private Equity, Fixed Income or sustainable investment; French or German language skills.
