IT/Data Business Analyst – Grid Support & Data Services

About the role

We are looking for an IT/Data Business Analyst to join our Grid Support & Data Services team in Luxembourg. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT, helping to shape and implement our data strategy across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and prioritise business needs together with stakeholders and IT teams.
• Model business objects into conceptual and logical data models to support the data‑strategy rollout.
• Define clear business definitions for data objects such as grid assets, finance and metering.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications for IT solution design and implementation.
• Map, analyse and optimise business processes to improve efficiency and align with corporate strategy.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, support go‑live activities and ensure solutions meet expectations.
• Train end users, provide guidance and documentation to facilitate adoption of new applications.
• Manage the lifecycle of business requests, delivering within agreed scope, timeline and budget.
• Serve as the primary interface between Business and IT, fostering communication and collaboration.
• Monitor and continuously improve IT‑supported processes while ensuring governance and service‑quality compliance.

Required profile

• University degree in Information Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent.
• First experience in business analysis, data modelling and process modelling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high self‑motivation.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, results‑oriented and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in English and French or German; Luxembourgish is a plus.
