IT Security Expert – Cloud & DevOps Focus

About the role

We are looking for an IT Security Expert to protect our modern, cloud‑native environment. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps and platform teams to ensure security is built‑in, automated and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor security controls across Azure, AWS and containerised platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Analyse security events using SIEM/XDR tools (Microsoft Sentinel, Wazuh) and coordinate response actions.
• Identify, scan and remediate vulnerabilities with tools such as Qualys and Trivy.
• Enhance detection use‑cases, alert logic and data integration across observability platforms.
• Support incident handling from triage to resolution, including technical analysis and stakeholder coordination.
• Secure core controls like identity and access management (Azure AD, IAM), firewalls, WAF and endpoint protection.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and IaC processes (GitLab CI, Terraform, ArgoCD) using policy‑as‑code tools (Kyverno, Renovate).
• Evaluate and optimise security technologies, including application security testing (MobSF).

Required profile

• University degree in IT or equivalent professional qualification in cybersecurity.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar security role.
• Strong understanding of current cybersecurity trends, technologies and best practices.
• Commitment to staying up‑to‑date with emerging security solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps procedures and tools.
