Internal Auditor / Internal Controller (m/f/x)

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Auditor / Internal Controller to join our Luxembourg‑based, family‑owned FMCG group. The role will work cross‑functionally to strengthen internal controls, manage risks and support ESG initiatives, helping the company grow its portfolio of reduced‑risk nicotine products across Europe and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the Group’s internal control and risk‑management framework.
• Identify, assess and monitor operational, financial, compliance and sustainability risks throughout the organisation.
• Review business processes, perform control testing and follow up on remediation actions.
• Contribute to governance, compliance and sustainability projects, including regulatory and ESG‑related initiatives.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management and governance bodies.
• Assist internal and external auditors and collaborate with stakeholders to reinforce the control environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Business Administration, Risk Management, Sustainability or a related field.
• 1‑5 years of experience in internal control, internal audit, risk management, financial audit or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of internal control, governance, risk management and compliance principles.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills, with a proactive, solution‑oriented attitude.
• Fluent in English and French; German is an asset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ESG and sustainability regulations (preferred).
