Infrastructure Operator – Cloud‑Native & Air‑Gapped

About the role

We are seeking an Infrastructure Operator to run, maintain and monitor a highly secure, air‑gapped sovereign cloud environment. The role demands rigor, autonomy and strong analytical abilities to keep critical services available in a constrained network.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Linux‑based infrastructures in a critical, isolated setting.
• Administer and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including networking, storage and RBAC.
• Handle Level 2/Level 3 incidents and participate in crisis management when required.
• Perform deployment, updates and patch management without Internet connectivity.
• Monitor performance, manage capacity and optimise resource usage.
• Manage backup and restoration procedures.
• Support security processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Write and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Bac +3) or relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in infrastructure operations.
• Strong attention to detail, autonomy and ability to work in highly constrained environments.
• Security‑focused mindset with good team spirit and service orientation.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu or equivalent).
• Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting (cluster management, networking, storage, RBAC).
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalling).
• Scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and ELK.
• Experience with virtualised infrastructures.
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts, GitLab and GitOps.
