About the role

The Centre Hospitalier du Nord is seeking a General Care Nurse to join one of its acute care units or specialized services. Working under the supervision of the service manager, the nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients and support their families.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure holistic patient care and maintain accurate patient records.
• Plan, administer and evaluate prescribed treatments autonomously.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other health professionals.
• Uphold strict hygiene, safety and infection‑control standards.
• Manage medical equipment responsibly and economically.
• Participate in the supervision and training of nursing students.

Required profile

• Valid General Care Nursing diploma and authorization to practice in Luxembourg.
• Proficiency in at least two of Luxembourg’s three official languages.
• Team spirit, strong relational skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Patience, empathy, confidentiality and a patient‑centered attitude.
