Head of Governance QMS & Excellence

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to own and evolve our Global Quality Management System (QMS). Reporting to the Global Quality Director, the Head of Governance QMS & Excellence will drive standardisation, audit readiness and continuous improvement across all worldwide sites.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the global QMS, covering ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 22000 where applicable.
• Standardise core processes such as MOC, NC/8D, Plan‑of‑Control, Incoming Inspection, SPC, FMEA, audit management and document control.
• Lead internal audit programmes, certification cycles and ensure timely closure of non‑conformities.
• Provide global standards, tools, templates and training for SPC, FMEA, control plans, standard work and Gemba walks.
• Manage the global taxonomy, KPI dictionary and master data structures; oversee the BI cockpit for a single source of truth.
• Design and deliver Quality Academy curricula and maturity assessment models.
• Lead a small global governance team, set objectives, coach members and foster a culture of rigor and collaboration.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in QMS/Quality Excellence with multi‑site responsibility.
• Proven track record of deploying quality standards globally and leading audit and certification activities.
• Visionary, structured leader with strong communication skills and ability to influence across cultures.
• Highly organised, systematic and capable of simplifying complex systems.

Required skills

• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000 standards.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
• Audit management and certification processes.
• Data governance, KPI taxonomy and Business Intelligence reporting.
• Document control systems and quality methodology tools.
