Head of Finance

About the role

An international leading crypto firm is looking for a highly capable Head of Finance to lead its European finance function from Luxembourg. This senior leadership position offers significant ownership, cross‑border exposure and the chance to shape finance processes in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the European Finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls and continuous process improvement.
• Oversee financial accounting, including month‑end and year‑end close, financial reporting, audits and regulatory submissions.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and variance analysis to provide performance insights.
• Partner with Operations, Compliance and global teams to ensure effective financial governance, treasury management and process alignment.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• 5+ years of finance experience in regulated financial services such as banking, fintech, payments or similar.
• Fluency in English and Japanese.

Required skills

• Technical accounting expertise, including IFRS and local GAAP.
• Financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Month‑end and year‑end close, audit coordination and regulatory submissions.
