Graphic Chain Project Manager

About the role

Reporting to the Graphic Chain Manager, you will lead the standardisation of graphic quality and cost reduction across all global regions. You will act as the bridge between new companies, acquisitions and the Graphic Chain workflow, advising internal and external stakeholders on printing technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate artwork and repro processes according to central Graphic Chain guidelines.
• Perform final technical checks on print files, attend press approvals and conduct print trials at supplier plants.
• Participate in pre‑artwork committees with Marketing, repro and design agencies to resolve technical printing issues.
• Train packaging suppliers on the Color Glossary and Color Book Guide to ensure consistent printability.
• Manage agency portfolios and approve monthly agency costs based on price grids.
• Support global and regional projects, train new resources and assist other GC teams during peak periods or major brand launches.
• Ensure compliance with quality and food‑safety program requirements on every project.

Required profile

• 8–15 years of experience in printing technology, preferably within the packaging industry.
• Post‑secondary or university degree; certification in printing technology or as a print media operator is a plus.
• Strong project‑management skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of offset, rotogravure, flexo and digital printing.
• Understanding of finishing processes and packaging machinery.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
