Go Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This contract position is a remote, hourly role where you will lead quality assurance for Go AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated Go code and trainer outputs meet strict quality standards and project guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Go AI training projects.
• Review AI‑generated Go code and trainer/QA work, evaluating compile‑time validity, runtime behavior, concurrency safety, error handling, readability, performance, security, test coverage, and formatting.
• Provide precise written feedback and ensure contributors follow expected standards.
• Identify recurring quality issues, communicate updates to trainers and QAs, and maintain documentation.
• Support onboarding of new contributors and reactivate inconsistent participants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong command of English for guideline interpretation and clear technical feedback.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Go development, backend engineering, cloud services, distributed systems, DevOps tooling, code review, or software QA.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate Go content against detailed rubrics and spot issues such as non‑compilable code, concurrency bugs, race conditions, and inefficient logic.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, or engineers is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Go programming language (goroutines, channels, interfaces, structs, methods, slices, maps, pointers, error handling, context, packages/modules, testing).
• Go tooling: go test, gofmt, go vet, race detector, Go modules.
• Web and service frameworks: HTTP servers, REST APIs, gRPC.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Database drivers (SQL), GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, cloud‑native workflows.
