Global Vehicle Procurement Manager

About the role

Ayvens, a leader in operational leasing in Luxembourg, Europe and worldwide, is hiring a Manager Global Vehicle Procurement in its Global Procurement team. You will negotiate directly with vehicle manufacturers (OEMs) to deliver value to internal and external stakeholders, advise customers and internal stakeholders on how to maximise value capture, and act as the central point of contact for a portfolio of OEMs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead central OEM negotiations so that objectives and targets are met
• Guide countries and support problem solving on escalated vehicle procurement and OEM issues
• Act as the central point of contact for a portfolio of OEMs and coordinate with internal stakeholders such as remarketing, finance and commercial
• Ensure volume and financial targets are achieved within agreed timescales
• Source, negotiate, select and sign annual framework agreements with suppliers
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of suppliers (OEMs and dealers), markets and trends
• Manage contracts and monitor the execution of bonus and discount agreements
• Build and develop supplier relationships
• Liaise with internal business partners to turn their needs into strategies and projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• Professional qualification in procurement, business or law is an advantage
• 5+ years of national or international automotive experience, ideally in sales or procurement
• Experience with supplier relationship management and process implementation
• Fluent English and flexibility to travel
