Frontend Engineer (Remote, Contract, Part-time)

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to design and build high-quality, responsive web interfaces. Working remotely in a contract, part-time capacity, you will collaborate with designers, product managers and backend engineers to deliver fast, scalable user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain scalable web interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers and backend engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimise applications for speed and scalability.
• Apply best practices in code reviews, continuous integration and frontend engineering.
• Translate complex requirements into clean, reusable code components.
• Troubleshoot, debug and enhance existing applications for optimal performance.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering production-ready web applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work autonomously while staying aligned with team goals.
• Attention to detail and passion for outstanding user experiences.

Required skills

• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript.
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
