Front End Engineer (Freelance)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Front End Engineer to join our team on a freelance basis. You will work on building and maintaining modern web portals and applications using JavaScript and React, collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive front‑end components, libraries, and full‑stack web portals.
• Implement shared components and design systems using React functional components, hooks, and the Context API.
• Write unit and integration tests with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Integrate front‑end code with REST services, JSON APIs, and back‑end systems.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines with Vite and Azure DevOps, ensuring smooth releases.
• Deploy and monitor applications in on‑premise and cloud‑based containerised environments.

Required profile

• University degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in front‑end development.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and within cross‑functional teams.
