Financial Crime Compliance Governance & Controls Internship

About the role
ING Luxembourg is strengthening its Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) department and is looking for a motivated intern to join the Governance & Controls team. The internship starts in July 2026 for a minimum of six months and offers hands‑on experience in anti‑money‑laundering (AML) processes, monitoring, and investigations.
Key responsibilities
- Review client profiles and transaction data to identify unusual activity.
- Support the preparation of internal and regulatory reports.
- Provide administrative assistance to the FCC Governance & Controls team.
- Monitor alert queues, update local dashboards, and help prioritize outstanding cases.
- Contribute to projects and work‑groups, offering input where needed.
Required profile
- Enrolled in a university program, able to provide a school convention.
- Master’s level (M1 or M2) in law, economics, auditing or a related field.
- English proficiency is mandatory.
- Previous experience in Luxembourg or an audit firm is a plus.
