Financial Controller

About the role

CAE Aviation, a leading provider of aerial surveillance services, is strengthening its finance department. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing budgets, monitoring daily financial activities, and supporting the preparation of forecasts and financial statements in a fast‑paced aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control the annual budget.
• Monitor daily financial operations and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Participate in forecasting future financial performance.
• Support and monitor organizational projects that involve financial resources.
• Recommend policy or procedural changes to improve financial performance.
• Ensure overall financial stability of the unit.
• Create and maintain control tables and financial dashboards.
• Assist in month‑end closing and preparation of financial statements.
• Perform miscellaneous finance‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• First professional experience in accounting or audit.
• Fluency in French and good knowledge of English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
• Knowledge of the BOB accounting software (a plus).
