Financial Controller – Group Finance

About the role

The JOST Group is seeking a Financial Controller to join its four‑person finance team at the headquarters in Weiswampach. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, performance analysis, internal control, and cash‑flow management for a multi‑company, multi‑currency group.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and annual statutory closings, ensuring data reliability and compliance.
• Prepare and present financial reports for management and shareholders on a regular basis.
• Analyze variances, monitor KPIs (EBITDA, ROE, liquidity, DSO, DPO, etc.) and provide corrective recommendations.
• Conduct cost, margin and profitability analyses at entity and consolidated levels.
• Implement and improve internal control processes, including intercompany transaction reviews.
• Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, corporate income tax and statutory filing obligations.
• Monitor cash‑flow forecasts, working‑capital requirements and support financing optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, audit or accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar financial controller or audit role, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of local GAAP, taxation and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in English and French; German or Dutch is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Qlik Sense reporting tool.
• Knowledge of ODOO ERP software.
