Finance Assistant Manager / Manager

About the role

Bank of China Luxembourg is seeking a motivated Finance Assistant Manager / Manager to support its growing operations. The role focuses on daily financial management, asset‑liability management, and the preparation of key financial reports.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily financial operations and improve internal controls.
• Prepare and coordinate regular financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
• Conduct asset and liability management activities, including liquidity, funding, pricing analysis, and monitoring.
• Coordinate financial matters for cross‑border entities.
• Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and business performance analysis.
• Liaise with internal departments and external parties on regulatory, audit, and ad‑hoc issues.
• Execute additional projects assigned by the department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking or related fields.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluency in English; Chinese and French are a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Knowledge of VBA or another programming language (advantageous).
