Excel Expert (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an Excel Expert to work remotely on a contract basis. You will use your deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel to review, improve, and document complex spreadsheets that support business operations, strategy, and consulting use cases. Your work will directly contribute to training next‑generation AI systems by providing high‑quality, real‑world Excel examples.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyse, and enhance complex Excel files used in business operations and strategy.
• Provide detailed feedback and best‑practice examples for operational and consulting scenarios (excluding finance).
• Design, document, and share reusable Excel templates and solutions for AI training purposes.
• Collaborate with the client’s team to identify key workflows and operational challenges represented in Excel documents.
• Simulate real‑world business problems using advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, data validation, and automation tools.
• Produce clear written documentation and verbal explanations of processes and solutions.

Required profile

• Expert‑level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, data validation, and automation.
• Proven experience creating Excel solutions for business operations, strategy, or consulting environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex, non‑financial business problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
