About the role
The Enterprise Content Manager will lead the delivery of operational and analytical information‑management services across the organisation. You will ensure that content is consistently governed, compliant and of high quality while supporting day‑to‑day operations, platform improvements and migrations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational information‑management services in line with policies, standards and governance frameworks.
- Create, configure and maintain SharePoint sites, workspaces, document libraries, channels, views and pages.
- Assist staff and external partners with content rules, metadata standards, lifecycle practices and records‑management protocols.
- Act as liaison between content owners, business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Configure and administer SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 services, including permissions, security/compliance settings, records management and search.
- Support optimisation, extensions and integrations of the enterprise content‑management platform.
- Design, implement and maintain content‑centric workflows and automation using Power Automate, custom apps and forms.
- Plan, document and execute content migrations, ensuring integrity and metadata quality.
- Develop and maintain metadata models, term sets, taxonomies and classification structures.
- Analyse existing content structures and information architectures, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
- Evaluate content quality, consistency and compliance, identifying gaps and risks.
- Deliver awareness sessions, workshops and user training.
- Provide 2nd‑ and 3rd‑line support for content, platform and process issues.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering enterprise‑wide content‑management services.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess information architectures and propose evidence‑based improvements.
- Excellent communication skills to work with business stakeholders, content owners and technical teams.
- Ability to design and document migration plans, workflows and governance processes.
