Enterprise Architect – Define and Lead Target Architecture

About the role

Fortil is seeking an Enterprise Architect to shape and lead the target architecture of client information systems and its own solution portfolio in Luxembourg. The role sits at the crossroads of business, technology and strategy, ensuring solutions are consistent, scalable and compliant with regulatory and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap covering applications, data, integration, infrastructure and security.
• Develop solution architectures for strategic projects and align them with the target architecture.
• Create and update reference frameworks such as capability maps, application catalogs and data models.
• Support transformation initiatives by building roadmaps, assessing risks and prioritising actions.
• Advise project teams and governance bodies on technology choices, integration patterns and best practices.
• Lead architecture governance activities including committees, design reviews and decision follow‑up.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security standards and performance constraints.
• Monitor technology trends and propose innovations for Fortil’s offering portfolio.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in computer science, information systems or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in IT architecture, including complex integration and transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and urbanisation methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
