Document Control Lead – Data Center Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Document Control Lead to manage the document management environment for a high‑profile data centre project in Luxembourg. You will ensure that all design, construction and commissioning documents are accurately recorded, approved and accessible throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete records of design submissions, revisions and approvals across PUF, C&S and MEP disciplines.
• Implement and enforce document approval workflows integrated with BIM processes.
• Coordinate documentation flow among design, construction, QA/QC, commissioning, commercial and operations teams.
• Control and track transmittals for shop drawings, method statements, ITPs and subcontractor deliverables.
• Monitor document‑related milestones, prepare look‑ahead reports and support project planning.
• Provide client portal access, support audits and prepare handover packages including O&M documentation, warranties and BIM as‑built deliverables.
• Maintain audit trails, retention schedules and secure storage standards; define naming conventions and backup procedures.
• Lead, mentor and train document control staff on EDMS platforms.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Information Management, Engineering, Construction or a related field.
• At least 8 years of document control experience on large construction or data‑center projects.
• Full professional proficiency in English; French or German is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EDMS platforms such as Aconex, ProjectWise or SharePoint.
• Solid understanding of BIM deliverables and associated workflows.
• Experience defining metadata standards, naming conventions and backup procedures.
