Data Scientist - Quantitative Social Research

About the role

Sogeti is looking for a Data Scientist specialized in quantitative social research to turn complex data into actionable insights. You will work on projects that focus on children’s rights, collaborating with domain experts and internal stakeholders to deliver high‑quality analytical outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative data analysis using R and Excel to generate reliable insights.
• Design, analyze, and interpret statistical indicators and datasets within a social‑science framework.
• Contribute to research studies, reports, and analytical notes on children’s rights.
• Produce clear, structured written outputs such as reports, analyses, and summaries for diverse audiences.
• Present findings effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ensure data quality, methodological rigor, and transparent interpretation of results.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team with professionalism and diplomacy.

Required profile

• University degree in Social Sciences (psychology, sociology, economics) or Statistics.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience (5 years if no prior domain knowledge).
• Fluency in French and English.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of children’s rights is a strong asset.
