About the role

The City of Dudelange is looking for a Local Health Coordinator to strengthen community health services, promote public‑health initiatives and integrate mental‑wellness considerations across municipal programmes. This full‑time permanent role reports to the School Health Service and works closely with local health, social and wellbeing actors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve local health‑care infrastructure and assess feasibility of dedicated health facilities.
• Launch and maintain a health information portal on the city website and mobile app, serving as a public‑facing guide.
• Create and update a directory of active health professionals in Dudelange.
• Build and nurture a collaborative network among health, wellbeing and social stakeholders, fostering co‑creation of public‑health projects.
• Integrate mental‑health considerations into all city health campaigns and events.
• Study, design and implement inclusive wellbeing spaces for relaxation and mental‑health support.
• Coordinate the local health plan, lead the "Gesond Diddeleng" working group and advise municipal authorities on prevention policies.
• Evaluate health‑promotion projects, participate in national guideline discussions and run internal health‑promotion campaigns for city staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BAC+3) in nursing, social‑hygiene assistance, public health, health promotion or health‑service management.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in the health sector.
• Fluency in Luxembourgish, French and German.
• Demonstrated expertise in health‑service coordination and public‑health initiatives.
