Communications Assistant/Assistant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Communications Assistant/Assistant Manager to support and enhance the Bank’s brand image, reputation and stakeholder engagement across Luxembourg and Europe. The role will work closely with senior management and external partners to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication both internally and externally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication initiatives aligned with the Bank’s objectives.
• Drive the development of the Bank’s brand image as Bank of China Europe.
• Lead reputational risk management activities.
• Support internal communication initiatives and employee‑engagement programmes.
• Assist in managing sponsorships and partnership actions.
• Empower and coordinate communication projects across the BOC Europe jurisdiction.
• Handle ad‑hoc matters assigned by senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, journalism, language or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience preferred; exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; additional knowledge of French, German or Luxembourgish is a plus.
• Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
