Business Development Manager – Private Assets (International)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Private Assets segment on a global scale. You will shape the strategy for fund administration services across private debt, private equity, and infrastructure, building relationships with key decision‑makers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target potential clients in private debt, private equity, and infrastructure through market research, networking, and outreach.
• Develop and nurture relationships with fund managers, asset owners, depositary banks, management companies, auditors, lawyers, and independent directors.
• Present fund administration services, highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
• Lead negotiations on mandates, pricing, terms, and service level agreements while meeting profitability targets.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and client interactions to maximize conversion rates.

Required profile

• Extensive sales and business‑development experience in the alternative‑investment space, especially private debt, private equity, and infrastructure.
• Proven track record of selling fund administration services to top‑tier alternative asset managers and investors.
• Deep understanding of market trends, regulatory frameworks (e.g., AIFMD), fund structures, and operational complexities of alternative assets.
• Established network with fund managers, institutional investors, family offices, and industry associations.
• Result‑driven with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages (French, German, etc.) are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or related field; MBA or CAIA certification advantageous.
