Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the automation of appraisal, monitoring and completion documentation for a large financial organization in Luxembourg. The role focuses on digitising documents throughout the life‑cycle of financed operations, improving workflow efficiency and ensuring robust change management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse document content and conduct interviews with subject‑matter experts to elicit requirements.
• Map current (As‑Is) and future (To‑Be) business processes and data workflows.
• Prepare and review user stories, test cases and support testing activities.
• Assist in the migration and classification of documents within SharePoint‑based document management systems.
• Collaborate with IT project managers, solution architects, data governance and developers to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Contribute to change‑management initiatives, including training material creation and user guidance.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of IT‑related experience, preferably in large (500+ employees) financial organisations.
• Proven experience with document automation, workflow management and business process modelling.
• Strong background in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level or equivalent).

• SharePoint document management systems.
• Process modelling techniques such as BPMN, UML and conceptual data modelling.
• SQL and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., SAP Business Objects, IBM Cognos, Lumira).
• Agile and Waterfall project management.
