Aviation Receiving & Shipping Inspector

About the role

We are seeking an Aviation Receiving and Shipping Inspector to join the Technics department of LuxairAirlines. The role ensures that aircraft parts, tools and materials are handled safely and efficiently from arrival through to shipment, supporting our fleet’s operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming aircraft parts, tools and materials, identify any damage and verify certification compliance.
• Enter and update relevant data in Technics software and collaborate with other departments.
• Pack aircraft components for shipment, ensuring adherence to legal regulations and IATA Dangerous Goods packing and declaration requirements.
• Cover Incoming/Shipping Agent duties during absences or peak workload.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Required profile

• DAP qualification in Logistics or equivalent technical background.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining strict data confidentiality.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends.

Required skills

• IATA Dangerous Goods Shipper/Packer certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Forklift driving licence.
• Knowledge of EASA Part‑145 standards.
• Experience with Technics‑related logistics software.
