AV Designer – Audiovisual Systems Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an AV Designer to develop and implement audiovisual solutions for a range of projects in real‑estate, industry, energy and infrastructure. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to create both standard and complex video, audio and control systems that meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop audiovisual systems, including video, audio and control architectures.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and contractors to ensure seamless integration.
• Select and specify AV equipment such as projectors, displays, sound systems and video‑conferencing solutions.
• Define AV infrastructure requirements (power, data, reinforced walls) for IT and main contractors.
• Review third‑party deliverables, conduct site surveys and produce detailed reports.
• Participate in regular work‑stream meetings and support project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Multimedia Design or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AV design, integration or installation, with project‑management exposure.
• Fluent English; French and German are a plus.
• Willingness to travel as project demands.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AV design software: AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Visio.
• Strong knowledge of control systems and audio/video transport protocols.
• Understanding of AV‑over‑IP networking principles.
• Familiarity with virtual and augmented reality integration.
• CTS or PRINCE2 certification (advantageous).
